Our Liquor Soaked Cranberry Pecan Fruit Cake from an original recipe that predates the Civil War. It has been altered only twice in the past 100 years. It is a tempting blend of premium pecans, luscious cherries and pineapple, tangy dried cranberries, lemon, natural seasonings and the freshest basics (butter, eggs, flour, sugar) available. Since we add no preservatives, all cakes are shipped within 6 days of baking and reach their peak flavor about 14 days after baking. The cakes do not need refrigeration for up to 21 days after baking if your room temperature is 700 or less. After 21 days, we recommend refrigeration. After 30 days, we recommend freezing. The cake is best served at room temperature.
